Smart Contractor

How Do I... Set The Screen Resolution

Smart Contractor requires your screen resolution to be at least 1024 x 768. Some forms in Smart Contractor will not be displayed correctly at lower resolution.

If your screen resolution is lower than 1024 x 768, a message will be displayed when the program starts.

Follow these steps to change your screen resolution:

1) Click OK
Move this help window (drag the title bar) so that you can see the "Screen Size Too Small!" message in Smart Contractor. Click OK in the message box.
2) Go To The Windows Desktop
Minimize (don't close) Smart Contractor, and minimize (or close) any other open windows (except this one) so that you can see the Windows desktop.
3) Right Click
Right click anywhere on the Windows desktop. This will display a popup menu.
4) Select "Properties"
Click on Properties. This will display the "Display Properties" dialog box.
5) Click On "Settings"

Click on the "Settings" tab (top right) to go to the display settings form.

In the lower left area of the form there is an area labeled "Screen resolution" with a "slider bar" in it. Click on, and drag the slider to the right until it says at least "1024 by 768" beneath it.

If the slider bar is already all the way to the right, and it does not say "1024 by 768" (or higher) beneath it, then the monitor will need to be replaced with a monitor with higher resolution in order to run Smart Contractor.

6) Click "OK"

Windows will change the resolution of the screen and then prompt you to click OK again to keep that setting.

Click OK to accept the new setting.

Now return to Smart Contractor and try again.
