Purchase Smart Contractor License

How Do I... Purchase A Smart Contractor License?

To purchase a Smart Contractor license, click on the Help menu at the top of the main window, then click on Technical Support..., then click on Purchase Smart Contractor License.

The program will display a message asking if you want to purchase a license for Smart Contractor.

Click Yes to purchase a license.

If you have an active internet connection, this will open your browser and take you to a secure payment entry form on the PayPal web site. You can pay with your PayPal account, if you have one. If you do not have a PayPal account, click the button for that option, and follow the instructions on screen to pay with your credit card.

Since the transaction is handled by PayPal, you can trust that it will be secure.
If you do not have a connection to the internet, and you wish to purchase a license by phone, please call (541) 531-9322.

If you purchase a license by phone, you will be provided with instructions on how to enter it in Smart Contractor.

If you purchase a license on the web, the license key will be emailed to you. When you receive the email with your license key, follow the instructions below to enter it in Smart Contractor.

To enter the license key into Smart Contractor:

1) Copy the key

Open and view the email message from Smart Construction Software containing the license key. The license key is a string of 17 characters including letters and numbers. Select the license key in the email message by double clicking on it. Then type Ctrl-C to copy it to the windows clipboard.

2) Open License Entry Form

Click on the Help menu at the top of the main window in Smart Contractor, then click on Technical Support..., then click on Enter License Key to open the License Entry form.

3) Paste it

Click in the prompt for License Key, and press Ctrl-V to paste the license key into the prompt .

3) Click OK

Click OK to save the license key. A message will be displayed instructing you to re-start Smart Contractor. Smart Contractor will now be able to process any number of jobs, and create and open any number of databases.
