Change Order Entry Form


To open the Change Order Entry form, click on Edit Change Orders in the Job menu.

Or, click on the Add/Edit button next to the prompts for Change Order: in the Misc tab of the Edit Job Estimate form.

To open the Change Order Entry form, click on the Add/Edit button next to the prompts for Change Order: in the Misc tab of the Edit Job Estimate form.

The Change Order form allows you to enter Change Order names. Change Order names are used in the Edit Job Estimate form to associate changed items with a named change order.

Aside from the standard prompts available on all forms, the Change Order entry form has the following prompts:

Change Order:
Enter the name of the Change Order.
Change Order Date:
Enter the date of the Change Order. 
Change Order Notes:
Enter any notes for the change order. The change order notes will be printed on the change order. 
Change Order Status:

The prompt for the Change Order Status is similar to the prompt for Status in other data entry forms, except this one also allows you to set the change order status to Issued, or Approved. This allows you to track the status of change orders.

You can list change orders by status in the Change Order Listing report.
