Smart Contractor is available as either a Windows desktop application, where the program and data are installed on your computer, or as a internet based application, where you run Smart Contractor over the internet, and your data is stored on our server. Pricing is as follows:

• Unlimited free technical support by email, phone and internet conferencing.
• Unlimited free software updates.

Annual license renewal costs $299 per user.

Purchase Smart Contractor Windows Desktop Application

To purchase a Smart Contractor license, you must first download the program. The unlicensed version is fully functional, and comes with sample data of two jobs.

You can create three more jobs for free, but after that, the program will ask if you want to purchase a license.

Click Yes to purchase a license.

• If you have an active internet connection, this will open your browser with a secure PayPal payment page. You can pay with your PayPal account, or follow the instructions on screen to pay with your credit card.
  
  Since the transaction is handled by PayPal, you can trust that it is secure.
  
  Once your purchase transaction has completed, you will receive an email with your license key, and instructions on how to enter it into Smart Contractor.
  
  
• If you do not have a connection to the internet, and you wish to purchase a license by phone, please call (800) 922-9128.

If you decide that you do not want to purchase Smart Contractor, you can completely uninstall it from your computer using the Windows Add/Remove Programs function.

Smart Contractor Internet Based Application

A license for the Smart Contractor internet based application can be purchased the same as the Windows desktop based application described above, or it can be "rented" for a monthly payment of $99.

For one user license of over a period of two years, purchasing the software up front works out a little cheaper than the monthly rental:

...but the savings for purchasing the license are much greater for more users, and increase significantly after the second year.

If you would like to purchase instead of renting, but don't have the cash flow to allow that, we can work with you on time payments.
